Plain an Simple. Abe Shearer is a fantastic human being, high dollar finance man gone 6th grade math teacher! His inteligence and willingness to hear both sides of the story really highlight his personality. We went with the “Abe” look to show that he is a person, not a party candidate. I helped brand his entire campaign – logo/identity, business cards, handbills, signs, t-shirts and video work(coming soon!)
Carlene Thomas RD
Carlene Thomas is a friend of mine from college. She’s a successful nutrtionist and social media expert. Her site had to be clean and simple. Her graphic designer husband provided the framework, and I took over with the code. Features include: WordPress Integration, Blog Migration, SEO Optimization, etc
Furlow Associates
Furlow Associates is a Deleware-based consulting company with a focus on green engineering practices. Their previous site was a mid-ninties plug and play template with little customization and a HUGE monthly bill. I redesigned their site and cut their monthly costs by a factor of ten. Features include: Custom Design, WordPress Integration, SEO, Site migration, host and domain transfers.
Wedding Invites
These invites were a lot of fun to design -they were for my wedding! My wife and I wanted simple and cool with a bit of personality. Why the bike? I’m also a pro cyclist and my wife and I love to spin to the coffee shop together. Custom layout and design.
Kenda Pro Cycling
I have done various projects for Kenda Pro Cycling including these half page ads that ran in nationally distributed sports magazines. Other projects, not pictured, include developing and designing a newsletter, website upkeep, website element design, writing, and marketing strategy.
Rocktown Bicycles
While working with Rocktown Bicycles, I helped build their presence through a custom online store, Facebook page design and managment, event promotion, event branding (signs, graphics, handouts etc..) and everything in between. It was really great project to be a part of. The owner of the store is good man and loves his hobby. Its worth noting that his son participated in the World Championships this year!
Larkin Arts
Very nifty art gallery/studio/store right in downtown Harrisonburg. They needed a clean site with lots of ability for customizations. I created this custom site using my favorite user-friendly WordPress back end. The home page image can be changed in an instant w/o any code knowledge! (And they are artists so its easy for them to create a new one and swap it out!)
Gripped Films
Gripped Films gave me my start. While working for the award-winning independent film company, I developed a new look for multiple websites, film posters, handbills, and online ads, as well as shot and edited features for “Chasing Legends” an internationally acclaimed documentary.
Mazza Wines
Mazza Wines, a Pennsylvania vineyard, was a sponsor of Kenda Pro Cycling and supported the team with sales. These wine label mockups were just a sampling of the 10-15 designs created. Mazza went with the “skinny” option.
