With Italian roots, and Californian history, Masi Bicycles is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. In recognizing its past, Masi historian and project Manager Dom Phipps will be writing a book tracing the lineage and completing the story that brought the famous frame builder Faliero Masi to the golden coast.

Rather than throw back and commemorate the anniversary with retro lugged steel bikes, Masi is both pointing at its past but also looking forward. Hand built, designed, and painted in southern California, 100 limited edition frames featuring modern, shaped, Columbus steel tubing, will be produced to honor the occasion.
