Virginia, and Charlottesville city in particular, is a region rich in history. Many of the founding fathers have homes in the central part of the state; Monticello (Jefferson), Ash Lawn (Mason), and Montpellier (Madison) to name few. But another home, Castle Hill, just outside the Charlottesville city limits belonged to the founder of the city and friend of those men that shaped the country.
The estate is privately owned on 600 preserved acres. The current owners and care takers spent many years bringing the home back to life. But after years of restoration the owners are moving on to another project and selling the beautiful mansion complete with a 4-tier garden, horse barn, pool, multiple outbuildings, fantastic view, and acres of gorgeous countryside.
Winsor Creative was hired by the listing agent, Nest Realty, to add to their extensive marketing means in selling the home. Multiple film features were shot and produced to show the detail of the woodwork, tell the history of the home, and to show the broad landscape on which its sits.
